3db's Main System located in the basement

That’s my goal, to get good enough that it looks like a museum piece! Also, I’m nowhere near reaching that goal…

Most of us are several blocks away from the museum… and there’s no street parking in sight :paddle:

I did an invisible system upgrade with my basement system. I replaced the Iomega media player which did not have any networking capability (but it has a 1 TB drive) with a Roku Ultra HD. I can now accesss my Emby server/library as well as get back some of the movie streaming apps that are no longer being supported on my Samsung TV. I just made it a dumb TV.

I think I'll use the Iomega on trailer system or maybe on the Yamaha stack and run an HDMI cable from it to the display just for navigation and menu selection purposes while connecting its analog output into the Yamaha 2 channel stack. Decisions.

I decided to put the Iomega in the Yamaha stereo stack. The analog outs of the Iomega feed the preamp. The HDMI cable is fed to the display so I can navigate the Iomega's menu.
