The outcome of the four CFP games thus far was easily predictable... no upsets.

Congrats to the Iowa State Cyclones in their victory over the Miami Hurricanes! One of the best games of the season to watch. Very competitive.

I will say it now... I will not have any love loss for Milroe being gone. He was no doubt the worst QB we've had in a very long time. He had his moments, but you can't win with his kind of inconsistency.

Penn State looked really good putting it on Boise State as they did. I don't know if it was a matter of PSU being that good (improving since their loss) or if Boise State was not as good as we thought, despite giving Oregon all they wanted.

We almost needed an ultimate fighting cage for Beamer and Bielema in the South Carolina vs. Illinois game

Beamer was hot. Bielema looked smug for having got under Beamer’s skin. When SC got it back under control and scored on that drive I thought the momentum would stay with them and they would win the game. Nope.
All in all a pretty good game. All the players and one of the coaches should be proud of their competetive spirit and conduct.

While it was unsportsmanlike to do what he did to cause Beamer to get so upset, his substitution idea was pretty clever. If you are going to substitute on offense, you had better do it early. Otherwise, the defense can take their time running onto the field with their substitution and run your play clock out, forcing you to take a time-out.
