2024 - 2025 NCAA Football

Outside of the Vols and the Dogs elimination game... looks like a pretty boring weekend.

Some really close games, but nothing shocking or surprising, other than Oregon almost getting beat.

Florida over LSU surprised me anyway. And what a fun game to watch.
Georgia - Tennessee was a solid competitive game. Good to see Carson Beck throwing well.
I also caught the last quarter of South Carolina- Missouri and that was great drama, too.

And lastly, I can’t believe a couple short weeks ago I was thinking Bama would‘t make the playoffs. Shame on me.

What is shocking is the way it is playing out (assuming Bama wins out) they will be in the SEC Championship game playing the winner of Texas vs. Texas A&M (assuming Texas A&M beats Auburn and Texas beats Kentucky). I don't think any of these games are guaranteed wins for any of us. Missouri does have to win one more game, which they should beat Miss State.

We know at least one of these will change this Saturday when OSU plays IU.

Naturally others could change if they lose.

I wonder if Georgia Tech will have anything for the Dawgs in a couple of weeks—on a Friday night, too.

Tech will have an extra couple of days of practice, while the Dawgs will be shorted a day. :sneaky:

Time will tell. :) All comes down to preperation and determination! :)

Wow, the Gators chomp up on the Rebels. Ole Miss beats Georgia, who beat Florida and Texas, and then Florida knocks Ole Miss out. It can happen on any given day.

Indiana just couldn't hang with OSU. I thought it would at least be a close game, but OSU looked strong.

Bama is out... what a major meltdown from the LSU game that must have gone to their heads. While it doesn't make sense, it also doesn't surprise me with the inconsistencies of the season.

I was really thinking after last weekend we'd have our way with Auburn this year... ha... not so fast... lookout Iron Bowl.

The SEC has been inconsistently crazy this year, other than maybe Texas, who has looked the most solid. I think Georgia and Tennessee are still good teams despite their losses.

That was the absolute worst performance I can remember. Milroe went from superstar to less than 2nd string, scoring more points for Oklahoma than his own team. This was facilitated by an O-line that refused to block and coaching staff with a terrible game plan, i.e. let’s do exactly the same thing as last time.

True, but the only ranked team they played was Georgia who handed them a 30-15 loss in Austin.

Amen! I honestly can't remember the last time we played this poorly against a team we should have beaten easily, or really any team for that matter. It's like Saban said last week when he was the only one on the ESPN panel who picked Bama to beat LSU. He said Bama has more talent; they should win. Bama has more talent than OU... we should have won and should have covered the -14 spread. It was like the Bama coaches didn't think OU was going to coach, and they could do a repeat of last week. And... didn't even make any adjustments for he second half. Bama fans are left scratching their heads as to what just happened to Bama. You can't blame it on anything but coaching... there is no other excuse.

This was the epitome of complacency!

Unless they figure out how to coach the talent in short order, Auburn will have their way with Bama in the Iron Bowl.

That is a very good point. I guess Georgia or Texas are still our only hope for the SEC... not sure Tennessee is quite there.
