Should be a good Super Bowl... probably give the nod to the Chiefs. I don't think the Niners will be able to come back on the Chiefs like they have the last few weeks.

Argh! The Ravens!!!! They played a great (or good enough) second half to win that game. Would have liked to see Lamar use his legs a little more... but that fumble. Man-o-mighty... that completely altered the trajectory of the end of the game.

Congrats @JBrax ! The experience the Chiefs have is shining at the moment. Mahomes is one of those guys that sees the field before the snap, reads, and then executes to perfection. Super impressive to watch. They've gotta be the favorites to win the SB!

I was rooting for the Lions, but the Brock Purdy story is a good one. So much for Mr. Irrelevant! And despite the fact he took control and did his job well, the announcers still were saying he wasn't much of an athlete.

Let's do the math here: (1) broke 49ers single season QB records, (2) played an entire season as a QB in the NFL, and (3) led his offense to a victory in the NFC championship game.

Calculating...

Looks like he's a top-tier athlete to me!

The Chiefs are just so clutch in these big games. They don’t flinch a bit regardless of the flow of the game. I think they make other teams tighten up late in games. Oh, and it helps that our WR’s suddenly are catching the ball.

I think the Chiefs are okay winning again this year. They gotta get to the level of winning as many Super Bowls as the Patriots to start getting hated on like Bama. :sarcastic:

The Chiefs stick with a game plan... and they're consistent. Really helps to have all of that experience. I can't wait to watch these two teams throwdown!

Yep... they've been there and done that... a significant advantage.

Washington Hires Dan Quinn to be head coach.

Love this move.

He led the Legion of Boom in Seattle under Pete Carrol and took the Falcons to the SB as a head coach. Good resume

Tonight is the night!

May the better team win!

lol

:)

@JBrax, I’ve got $105 on your guys to win. Let’s go Chiefs!

wow, what a game!

Congrats to the Chiefs!

Boring 1st half… incredible 2nd half.

Chiefs are gamers!

Congratulations Jeff! @JBrax I’m sure that had you on the edge of your seat!

What a game, for sure. Congrats to the Chiefs... bad to the bone. Patrick MaHomes is no doubt the best QB in the NFL... just amazing. OTOH ... Kelce is becoming obnoxiously annoying with his antics.

I would not be one bit surprised to see these same two teams going at it again next year if Purdy and MaHomes can both stay healthy.

Mahomes is the GOAT. Pretty much speechless. A chance at 3 in a row is mind boggling! GO CHIEFS!!!

How bad is Tony Romo??? Ugh.

Such great knowledge... but such annoying delivery. I think he started saying "this play can win the super bowl" at the beginning of the 2nd Q.

I feel for the SF kicker....that blocked extra point was it. Great play by KC, for sure... but I'm guessing he didn't get that ball elevated like he wanted to. I hate to think of the mental weight and duress these guys bear after having a gaffe on the biggest stage

I thought Romo was great his first year in the booth. I’m not sure what changed but he’s beyond annoying to listen to now.

Tell me about it... there were several comments he made that had me scratching my head.

There was a play near the end of regulation... Mahomes hit Kelce and he rumbled down to the 10 yard line.

Right before that play, Romo went banana's on the telestrator. As the chiefs lined up he drew like 8 lines saying the play could go here, here, here, here, here...

I was like.... WHAT?!?!?!? STOP!!!

Couldn't agree more about Romo. It's almost like the higher ups told him to make grand statements like "this play can win the super bowl" more often with how much he was throwing it around. I had a hard time listening to him at all by the end of the game.
I have a hard time when I miff a ground ball to lose a game during beer league softball. I can't imagine what the SF kicker is going through!

We might be able to get a petition up to get Romo fired, huh? lol

If all of us here think the same, how many others are saying the same thing?

I don't think it is just a coincidence what we all heard and think about it.

That's the thing though: he knows what he's talking about. He just overdramatizes what seems like every play. I was noticing it during the regular season and playoffs as well, not just last night. Smart dude, but too dramatic for my taste.

I don't guess I've paid much attention to him during the season. I don't watch a lot of NFL during the season either, or when I do, it is while I'm working on the computer, so I don't notice it. I was watching and listening during the entire game yesterday, and several of his comments were undoubtedly dramatic and a bit out of place.

I heard the Nickelodeon broadcast of the game was very good. You can see it on youtube, click here.
