2 channel Receiver with separate A and B toggles and Internet Radio and a pair of speakers

I haven't given any thought about that sensitivity claim... first I've heard of it.

Denon has Audyssey and a graphic EQ... which allows me to bump up the bass a little. It's typically at one volume in all use cases. The only difference will be that the volume of the outside speakers will be a little higher than the inside speakers, but neither will be loud. Right now, we have no bass to speak of, so whatever we get will be an improvement.

I don't think I am because the only reason I am considering the floor-standing speakers is that I can get them as wide as I want (11-12"). I haven't found a bookshelf that is 11-12" wide.

Guessing you forgot about MoFi SourcePoint? Or ruled out for some other reason?
SourcePoint 8
  • Speaker 11-7/16"W x 17-15/16"H x 14-1/4"D
  • Stand 22.5”H Stand Base 12.5625 x 13.0625

Seems to also fit the bill for off axis listening, to the extent that any speaker could that is.

Yeah... the $2200 price tag ruled them out for me... lol. Otherwise... they would be perfect!

Wharfedale Linton speakers look interesting, but I'd have to get their stands too.

I think concentric speakers would probably work best since listening is off-axis.

Hey wait a second, those don't come in white...do they?

That's not bad looking there, especially if you have an old speaker that needs some love to look mo betta.

I had my last two trucks wrapped in matte PPF.
