Hi all

I'm trying to do a 2.1 setup with the demo version. I have a minidsp 2x4 HD and I've connected it to my computer with the usb cable. I have the channels routed in the minidsp plugin software like so

and all of the xover and other settings "bypassed". The left speaker is output 1, right speaker output 2, and the sub is connected to output 3.

Now in Audiolense XO i have the setup like this
Screenshot 2022-07-18 234507.jpg Screenshot 2022-07-18 234525.jpg Screenshot 2022-07-18 234543.jpg

The problem I'm encountering is that, when I go to measure I get the error that format and playback device is not compatible. What I'm guessing is the issue is that the minidsp is not showing all 4 channels to
Audiolense or I am misunderstanding the capabilities of the 2x4 HD.

Has anybody managed to figure out how to use the 2x4 with Audiolense for a 2.1 setup?

This is how my measurements screen looks

Hi Artmis,

It seems like your 2x4 HD only can take a stereo signal in. In order do do crossover / bass management in Audiolense you need a sound card with 3 input channels or more.

Yeah sadly that's the conclusion I've been coming to. Thank you. It's making more sense to me after looking at other products like the Motu M4. Fortunately the setup I wanted the minidsp for is only 2 channel anyways.

You will get a very good result if you simply configure the crossovers in the MiniDSP unit and do a global correction with Audiolense. (Full range speaker correction without crossovers) It will not be as technically perfect as the full enchilada, but I will not bet that the difference is audible. My guess is that sometimes it isn't.
