The Maryland-based company has been named to the Inc. 5000 for the third consecutive year, placing it among the fastest-growing private companies in America.
For a brand operating in the rarefied world of premium video processing, that kind of repeat recognition says a lot. Its Envy video processors live in high-performance home cinemas, luxury media rooms, and some of the most ambitious private theater projects in the world. A third straight Inc. 5000 appearance suggests demand for that level of video processing isn’t only healthy, but continuing to expand.

The recognition arrives as madVR continues to broaden and refine the Envy platform. Over the past several years, the company has leaned heavily into features that matter in serious theater environments, including HDR dynamic tone mapping, 8K video processing with full 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 input and output, low-latency gaming with VRR input and output up to 360Hz, instant aspect ratio management, non-linear stretch, and intelligent subtitle handling.
Two of the company’s more recent headline technologies, MotionAI and Dynamic Subtitle Overlay (DSO), are good examples of why Envy continues to attract attention from integrators and enthusiasts. MotionAI is aimed at advanced motion processing, while DSO addresses one of home cinema’s sneakier pain points: subtitles that are too bright, poorly placed, or distracting in rooms built around serious projection systems. Those kinds of additions reinforce madVR’s broader strategy, solving difficult video problems while continuing to add value for existing Envy owners through platform development.
madVR Labs will showcase its latest video processing innovations at CEDIA Expo 2026 in Denver, Colorado, September 2 through 4, at booth 2047. The madVR Envy platform will also appear throughout the show floor in several partner booths, powering video processing for advanced video walls, TVs, and projectors.
