I've seen conflicting info on this so thought I'd ask in the official forum...
I have an older Behrenger ECM8000 test mic that I'd like to use for REW. I was contemplating purchase of a digital audio interface that supports 48V phantom power on one or more of its inputs but then it occurred to me that the Zoom H4N Pro also supports that and can be used as a standalone recorder as well as digital interface. Any idea if that will work? Any known caveats?

Doing an internet search for Zoom H4NPro Room EQ Wizard got no hits, so it looks like you’re in uncharted territory. Let us know how it works. :)

I was able to get REW to recognize my device after installing the ASIO driver for the H4N. When you plug the H4N into the computer with USB and power it up, the device asks you if you want to put it into interface mode or standalone. Select the audio interface option and it pops up as a sound card in Win11 . More testing required but so far it looks promising.

What are the device entries that are prefixed with EXCL?
