Xtz microphone use

Hi im new, sorry. I have some knowledge of umik but i have just got a xtz room pro.
does anyone use one with rew could give me some tips?

It's not clear what exactly you need tips for. There is no shortage of help videos on Youtube for using REW, so I guess it's not that.

Sorry, so i have rew and used a umik just having trouble getting the sound cal into re keeps saying a parse error in cal file?

Are you talking about the calibration file for the UMIK?

Dagnabbit, auto correct ipad.
i have used a umik before but i have a xtz now. I can find the mic in rew but when i try to load the file i get the above error? I was hoping someone had used a xtz mic with rew?

Ah yes there are two files, text or dat?

I was able to load either of them but examination of the .txt file suggested that it was not intact as there were no corrections under 4kHz and had only amplitude corrections. OTOH, the .dat file had full spectrum data.

Ah, maybe thats why it kept saying something about section 7 was bad? Thanks
