Very high quality stuff. Worked with Seymour building a screen for their demo room at CEDIA several years back and when we got the demo before taking the screen back down, it was by far the best sounding room I'd heard at the entire show.

interesting! so what say you, Wisdom or Grimani Systems in your space?

Hard to say. If you can do the Wisdom Line Source, I'd absolutely go that route every time. If you're talking Point Source, I don't know if I'd weigh in on that, since I haven't heard the Wisdom Point Source speakers to compare with Grimani.

But in these price ranges, if you're looking at Point Source, I wouldn't exclude Ascendo either.

thanks for this insight, Travis. our dealer told us line all day as well. i wasn’t really familiar with the details of line vs point. hopefully they have a demo Wisdom screening room completed soon. cheers.

You can get an incredible sound from the Wisdom speakers - Line source in particular - True Audiophile sound with a surprisingly High output for large home cinema rooms. The Line Source effect allows for a much more consistent direct sound dB level across the room.
You can take your time with how to mount the speakers - cable them with correctly chosen speaker cables, and how to power them. I have been able to get the best sound using High End Audio on HF (I use Krell currently) and Wisdom amps on LF
The X-Over is critical, and the best results I've had is to Use Trinnov Altitude to handle the active X-Over following Wisdom's PEQ settings
I've been installing Wisdom for 15 years now and every client is still delighted with their sound.
