I am gojng to sheath sone 4 conductor Monoprice 12 gauge speaker wire, and I am wondering if others take the plastic hose holding all the wires together off before sheathing. I am aski g this because the sheathing is not flexible at all.

Why are you using sheathing? Will techflex not work, it is very flexible and looks nice.

I use techflex on all of my power cables, speaker cables and it's also on my balanced interconnects. I have never removed anything from the original cable. Techflex is extremely flexible and easy to use... just make sure you get the right size. I ordered a bunch of it off of ebay ... different colors and sizes... it doesn't cost much.

i have 2 100" rolls pf 3/8" coming today from Amazon. 1 roll is for my power and the other is for my speaker wire and XLRs. Red/black for power cords, and blue/black for speakercons.

why do I have everything underlined?

Here is the power cable I completed today...the speaker and XLRs will be blue and black. The other cable in the pic is a 3 prong cable I had from another piece of audio equipment...quite a

That looks like the same color I used for power cables... copycat. :neener:

I think I did... I'll try to remember to take some pics of my cables this weekend.
