(August 4, 2018) AV NIRVANA is primed to deliver justice, Equalizer-style, with a Flash Giveaway contest designed to net two luck winners. Thanks to Sony Pictures, we have two 4K UHD Blu-ray copies of the brute-force action flick The Equalizer on hand, one of which is signed by Director Antoine Fuqua and mega-Hollywood star Denzel Washington!

According to our prolific disc critic, Michael Scott: “It’s nice to see a hard-hitting action movie that’s reminiscent of the 90s make its way to us in this day and age.” Gracing the 4K disc release with a final review score of 4.5-stars, Scott says the film’s new-to-release Dolby Atmos track is powerful and nuanced, loaded gunshots that “rip through your speakers like a cannon” and mega-impactful low frequency effects.

And the video? Scott says it’s near 4K HDR perfection. In other words, this is a must own release for any movie enthusiast!
