Using my Scarlett 2i2 interface wired for loopback, white noise PN produces a nice flat response in the RTA at sampling frequencies up to 96KHz without smoothing as it is designed to do. I find this invaluable for measuring frequency response. However, this appears not to work at 192KHz. The spectrum is displayed OK but it very noisy as if the white noise is not correlated. Can someone else check this so I can eliminate my Scarlett 2i2 audio interface as the culprit.

Cheers

Are you using ASIO drivers? The Java drivers seem a bit hit and miss at 192 kHz. I've just checked 192k using ASIO on my UR22mkII and it it behaves as it should.

No I am not using ASIO drivers. I am running it on Linux so I do not need to.

However, it is a dual boot machine so I could try running it under windows...
