This plug is creating problems, space-wise... anyone know any that are bent (thinking L-shaped) to save space on the backend of av gear?
 
I would imagine any computer store would have them. My APC came with one. You could contact them or just google it.

Exactly like that one. Looks like that would shave off an 1" to 1 1/2" on the back end. Maybe more?
 
I like the shorter lengths! My APC cords are like 8 ft long which is more that I need. Do wish you could choose heavier gauge. 10 awg would be great, depending on what you are powering and what you have in your dedicated circuit.

What gauge ships with AV components?
 
14AWG is typical and plenty sufficient. Most homes are wired with either 12/2 or 14/2, so anything on equipment would not serve much benefit over 12-14.
