When to change a Projector Bulb ?

Filter cleaning needs to be done semi annually. We've seen light engines with melted panels caused by overheating. Yes, the projector is supposed to have over-temp protection, but sometimes the engineers goof.

It's great advice that I'm sure a lot of owners skip... I've check my PJ filters over the years, though never seen a dust collection quite like that! I probably use the projector less often, tho...

Maybe I'm misremembering what I paid....

either that or you weren't getting OEM bulbs. the RS45 and RS46 OEM bulbs run from $375-$415 shipped from reputable dealers. I've NEVER seen them below $350....

I'm 99% sure I had found a supplier with OEM bulbs... perhaps I was buying something that was falsely advertised.

Either that or you need to show me the magic well of cheap JVC bulbs!!!
