What TV series are you watching now?

Google and Disney got into a dispute, so about a week ago all Disney owned content got dropped. For me this specifically meant ESPN in all its variants. Well, as a NCAA sports fan that couldn’t stand, so I ended up with Disney+ for the time being. Figuring I may as well take advantage of it, I started watching The Mandalorian and Alien Earth. The Mandalorian is getting a bit formulaic and predictable. Does it stay this way or is it worth continuing?

I not familiar with what Disney or Hulu series might be worth a watch. Does anyone have a favorite to share?

I finished season 2 of Fubar. Still working on season 2 of Sandman. I don't like how the Sandman is being portrayed as a Gothic whiner.

Alien Earth was a very good watch. Definitely would like to see season 2 when/if there is one. Beforehand, I assumed because of all the times I’ve seen one of the Alien movies there’d be nothing scary, new, or interesting about it. I’m happy to have been wrong.

The Last Frontier on Apple TV+ has been above average. Some of the acting could be better, but the story has plenty of twists, the pace is fast and theres some good action special effects worth seeing.

Just started Stranger things, love it so far :T

The Netflix limited series The Crystal Cuckoo is one I highly recommend.

Have you been watching Pluribus?

I never heard of Pluribus but I may now check it out. It has great RT and IMDB scores.

I feel the same way, Sonnie. Tho, I’m not sure I would call it stupid. But, at times it seems to really stretch things out.

I’m wondering if the whole virus/hive mind is a metaphor for AI? Or the suggestion that AI will eventually cause all of us to lose our individuality?

I finished season 2 of The Sandman. I don't know about anyone else but I was tired of the pouty goth boy. I'm glad he is no longer returning to the series if another season will be made.

Is sandman an extension of the Batman universe?

Is sandman an extension of the Batman universe?
I don't think so. Sandman is the god of Dreams where Sandman man in Batman is just a villian. Totally unrelated.
