Hello! I have recently bought the pro upgrade, built a multi-mic system for polar pattern measurement, and i'm now trying to calculate the total emitted energy response. I've run into three questions.
1) what averaging is used by REW for multi-input measurement? Is it an average of complex amplitudes? Or powers (squared amplitudes)? Or absolute values of amplitudes? I assume it is the second, but just to be sure...
2) are weights applied as factors for amplitudes or for powers?
3) is it possible to tell REW to not normalize averaging weights by their sum, so that i get a weighted sum rather than a weighted average?
Thanks in advance. I know i can always resort to manual processing, i'm just looking for shortcuts.

Averaging is RMS. Weights are applied to squared magnitudes. Normailsation is always applied, so a weighted sum would require a subsequent scaling step for the average.
