I have a Marantz AV10 and have purchased the optional editable edition of the included room correction software that came with the processor already installed. They have 2 varieties of their editable app. One is short money and the other offers many more options at 10x the price. The entry level one can be applied to any compatible Marantz processor while the advanced version can only be applied to the Marantz you first sign up with and if you replace that one you have sign up again to re-purchase another license for your new Marantz.
I have 2 different Marantz processors which would mean 2 license purchases for their advanced version. For me that did not require going to AI for a second opinion. The entry level editable app manages both of my Marantz units.

While Dirac is offered as an upgrade at additional costs on my Marantz AV10, I have been very pleased with the results of the entry level optional app that I purchased for short money. While it is possible that purchasing Dirac software could get me closer to the holy grail, Dirac would be 30x what I paid for my entry level optional app. That is a much greater financial leap than I am willing to take.
