When running speaker measurements on my AVR, I always have to first run a pink noise to ensure that the SPL for each speaker is correct. For Example, if I select the FR speaker and run pink noise, it sounds and truly measures about 10dB too low. But if I select the FL speaker and run pink noise, it correctly shows 75dB. Then if I select back to the FR speaker and re-run pink noise, it correctly shows 75dB. I always have to do this for each speaker / channel.
Basically, after making EQ changes in the AVR for the FR speaker, I always have to run pink noise on the FL speaker first before running measurement for the FR speaker to see if my changes look good.
This is in Windows.
Does this sound like an REW, Windows, HDMI or an AVR thing?
The setup is a desktop PC, to AVR to TV. I can cross-reference in Linux but that particular OS only supports 2 channels.
