UX suggestions for measurements list

I have a few suggestions for the left side panel that shows the list of measurements:

1. It would be great to be able to resize the width of this panel, so that you can see measurement titles that might be longer, as well as the information under the title once a measurement is selected.

2. It would also be great to have the option to not display the thumbnail preview on the left side of each item—it often doesn't provide much useful information when reading the list, and it would buy back more real estate for longer titles.

3. Currently, each item in the list has a left section that contains a thumbnail preview and a right section that contains the title.
If you click the title of the measurement, all of the text of the title is selected for renaming. If you click the thumbnail preview, the measurement is selected.
These two sections are at different heights, which means that if you click thumbnail preview directly to the left of the title that you want to select, you select the measurement above the one you want to select.
It would be easier to use/more clear if these two sections of the item were at the same height, and if you could select a measurement by clicking its title—double clicking the measurement title would select its text for renaming.

4. When a measurement is selected, the notes open up below it in the list. Now when you are trying to scroll through the list of measurements, scrolling through the notes section of the open measurement takes over and interrupts the scrolling of the list of measurements. It would be better if you had to click on the notes section of the selected measurement in order to scroll through it, so that by default you were able to scroll through the list of measurements uninterrupted.

5. It would be great to have folders in this list.

6. It would be great if you could choose to automatically re-sort this list by measurement date (newest first or oldest first), or revert to the user created sort order (whatever order they were in before sorting by date)
