As per subject I am trying this
48897

I am selecting KAVA drive: should I select ASIO drives? If I do so I acnnot see the UMIK any longer so I use JAVA drivers.
I cannot hear output signal to the speakers (and as a consequence no input signal is reported by the UMIK)
Should I select L, R or L+R for inputs and outputs?
Pls help and sorry if I missed something in the documentation

p.s. I was able to use REW in this setup a couple of years agos

On your original settings the output volume is set to zero, so you won't hear anything:

48902

You could also use ASIO drivers with an ASIO wrapper like FlexASIO or ASIO4All, but the Java drivers should be fine.

Thanks
I tried it but this does not help (I just set to 1.0 (I suppose 100% right?)
I am using JRiver but this should not clash: the test signal from the sound panel is correctly played in the speakers

... maybe is something related to the exclusive use of the driver?
