so with a good portion of North America under the path of this solar eclipse are you going to watch it? Even here in my home city it will be about 80% covered so it will be a sight for sure. The last eclipse I watched that was like this was way back when I was still in elementary school.
It will get quite dark out and I plan to be on the roof of my downtown building to see it with some welding goggles on I may even bring my video camera with me and do a time lapse of the event although that might be pointless as so many media outlets will be doing the same from directly under the full eclipse path.
I heard that there are even flights from Denver to the east coast that will be in the air directly at the time of the event and because of the movement of the plane heading East it will last even longer.
