I’m having a bit of an issue getting a pair of Emerald Physics speakers dialed in. I set the EQ crossover at 1000Hz. Then I get a good balance between woofers and the horn. I run a sweep per channel, then load them into the EQ. A set a few changes, then generate an EQ, then export the PEQ data.
I import the files into the L/R PEQ, then run another sweep in REW. From 200Hz and up, it’s wonderfully flat. But the lower frequencies has a large bubble. The photo shows a pass with no PEQ adjustments, then a pass after the PEQ has been adjusted.
Not sure why there is such a large bump from 40Hz to 400Hz.
