Greetings, from Mishawaka IN. Long time audiophile starting back in back in 1982, at Aviano AFB Italy. Seeing all my fellow airman's dorm rooms with rack systems from Pioneer, Bose 901 speakers, Klipsch Hersey's. Started me on my journey to acquire my own system. Lack of funds and which brands/componets to buy, caused me to do some homework via Stereo Review,Stereophile, and other audio magazines. My peers were not a lot of help as all had differing points of view.

Currently have Magnepan 3.6's for mains, 10.1's for surrounds, not using a center channel though I have a MMGC. SVS Ultra Plus2, subwoofer, NAD 218THX for amplification, Marantz 8802A for pre-pro, in a home theater surround sound set up. With a 50" Panasonic Plasma TV, also lots of room treatments with mostly diffusion upfront and absorption in back.

My desktop speakers are Magnepan MiniMags with a Parasound A23 amplifier, and headphones are HiFiMan HE10000V2.
I like a lot movie soundtracks, like Gladiator, Jaws, Star Wars, plus classic, new wave, prog, alternative(90's) rock and a little bit of everything else.

I had contacted AudioRaver on HTS and then met with him at Axpona a few years back. Who then later introduced me to Sonnie, Leonard, and Dennis, aka: The Usual Suspects.

While there are many Troy's their is only One, TitaniumTroy, so you might see me on some other forums. I have several titanium watches, eyeglasses, and no one else wants a name that is so long to spell, and it has a T in it, hence why I choose it as a screename.

Hey Troy... glad to see you made your way over to the new place to hang out. :sarcastic:

Gotta love those Maggies huh? Really nice setup you got there. We will need some pics in the AV Showcase when you get a chance. :T

Hi Troy, thanks for joining us! Really glad you're here!

Hi Troy, glad to see a fellow Hoosier on this forum. I was just up in your area yesterday, it was a bit brisk.
I too love Maggies, they did have a very very open sound top to bottom.

Hey, Troy, good to see you here! I have a titanium chronograph and had Ti glasses, but no one has ever called me "Troy".

Hello Troy, welcome aboard!

Yeah but your Tesseract, aka: The Cosmic Cube, also one fifth of the Infinity Gems, to just be a high performance metal is a serious downgrade.

Welcome, Troy! It was nice to meet you at Axpona.
Hmmm, I think we have a new moniker for Dennis, "Cosmic Cube."
