While trying to run measurements using one speaker as a timing reference, it appears that there is a second impulse being generated. Is this a setting or incorrect setup?

Either both speakers are playing the measurement sweep or there is a very strong reflection.

Tracked it down to a reflection. Thanks. Used pillows behind the mic, remeasured, and voila.

One way I used is to put a narrow panel of a certain dimension (a cushion a pillow a small board) to block the signal in one direction (front left right side of the speaker then measure. If reflexion desappeared you know where to search. The othe way is more complicated and implies to find in the impulse measurement the time by which the reflexions is delayed and use the "wrope technique" to find it. But my english is too poor to explain it to you here. One here will do better.
