Hi everyone!

In my never ending search for products to help control room acoustics I recently was made aware of the brand Synergistic Research. This company has quite a number of interesting devices that claim to have "...patented technologies work with your room’s natural acoustics to enhance spatial information and harmonic structure." I don't exactly know what that means but sometimes one just has to listen to the products offered before making an informed conclusion, no matter how outlandish the products seem.

That said, I was wondering if any members here have demoed the UEF Acoustic Dots either in a showroom or in their own home. I would really like to know your listening impressions. These small discs don't look like any room treatments I've ever seen before, hence my further curiosity. And, yes, this is a serious post, not a joke

Thanks!

I wonder what they are made of? Any change to an acoustic environment will make a change to the acoustics... In this case the question is how much change and can it be measured and/or can you hear it?

Maxwell's equations imply that all things transmit and receive... :dizzy:

They say the "UEF Acoustic Dots are guaranteed to work or your money back." But the fine print says: " Products must be returned in like-new condition, including all original packaging, accessories, and documentation. Items showing signs of wear, misuse, damage, or missing components may not be eligible for return."

Not sure how those two statements work together?

Just a strange product. And where is the proof of performance?

I'd guess these only impact high frequencies?
