The BBC and Kaleidescape Join Forces to Deliver 4K Content

[IMG] (December 4, 2018) Kaleidescape is, without question, the ultimate home theater player on the market. It offers an amazing array of content, including some 4K movie content not available on disc, in addition to a stellar onscreen user interface experience. Toss in extras, such as integration with control systems and advanced access to movie titles before they hit the disc and streaming market, and the Kaleidescape system is hard to ignore. Of course, there is the little issue of price (which isn’t cheap), but the system’s utility and performance factors are five-star across the board.

Recently, Kaleidescape announced a new partnership with BBC Studios – Americas to bring both BBC documentaries and BBC TV series to the Kaleidescape platform. Users can expect to gain access to hit content such as Blue Planet II and Sherlock, in addition Shark and the award-winning series Luther,” in 4K Ultra HD with HDR. In fact, this marks the first occasion that Kaleidescape has offered 4K HDR episodic content to date.

"With the recent innovations in video and audio technologies now available for the home, this is the golden age of home cinema," said Cheena Srinivasan, Kaleidescape founder and CEO. "Kaleidescape is delighted to offer these BBC titles to our customers. This is content that matters to our customers--that the whole family can enjoy!"

Some BBC 4K content has already been made available to US and Canadian customers, and Kaleidescape says more will be added “in the coming weeks and months.”
