"Tesla has finally put a price tag on those eco-friendly solar tiles that look like the real thing — and they're actually really affordable. Orders are now being taken for the Tesla Solar Roof at a price of $21.85 per square foot, which is nearly 20 percent less than the cost of a normal roof — even without factoring in the energy savings."

Yeah, as more manufacturers get into solar roof, the cheaper the prices will be. At least we can hope.
