As some of you may be aware of we had a terrorist attack here in Edmonton last night. A Somolian drove a car into a police officer at a CFL football game and then proceeded to stab him multipul times. He then fled the scene and was spotted driving a U-Haul truck downtown and drove into pedestrians and vehicles in several locations befor finally being rammed by the police flipping the truck on its side.
Such an aweful site to see, I had to go into work today to retrieve security footage off our system as the U-Hull driven by that terrorist drove right into people outside the bar behind our building.
Not something that anyone in our county should ever have to deal with but it seems like a reality of life now.
My prayers go out to the injured people including the officer who I understand was released from hospital today and will make a full recovery
