In theaters Worldwide beginning 10/13.

I am sure this will be a big hit!

I saw the local theaters had opened it up last night, a night early, to let people who hadn't preordered seats get a first look. I'm guessing that was nationwide.

This will be a big hit. Hope it's well done. I hope she didn't use Eagle Rock.

I am sure this will make tons of money! She has a strong fan base.

It'll definitely make money even if it was shot with a single phone. I love concert films, I just hope it's done well. Too many that I've been excited about end up being really boring. Eagle Rock is the main company in the biz, and 95% of their productions are on par with a telethon broadcast. Crappy cameras and uninspired production.

looks like her own company did the production..

from wikipedia.

In 2023, Swift commissioned a recording of the Eras Tour to be theatrically released as a feature film. Sam Wrench, who previously helmed Billie Eilish's Billie Eilish: Live at the O2 (2023) and Lizzo's Lizzo: Live in Concert (2022), was hired as director,[7] and the film was recorded at the first three of six Los Angeles shows of the tour from August 3 to 5, 2023, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.[8][9] Swift's in-house production company, Taylor Swift Productions, produced the film independently.[10]

just to give an update.

This movie is going to be huge!

From forbes,

With about a week to go until its cinematic release, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has already exceeded $100 million in advance ticket sales globally. That figure was shared by AMC Theatres, and it includes all chains and locations that will be showing the movie. AMC is distributing Swift’s film.

from screendaily,

The Eras Tour debuted with an estimated $96.0m for North America – easily breaking the record for the concert film genre. In international markets, with 94 territories released so far, the estimated number is $32.0m.

Those numbers combine to deliver a $128.0m global opening – far surpassing the previous record held by Michael Jackson: This Is It, which debuted with $74.3m worldwide in 2009. (These comparisons are not adjusted for inflation.)

I’m sure this will be released on 4K, I imagine it will be a solid experience. I don’t know a lot of her music, but I’m sure it will be decent.

My daughter would not allow me to not pick up the 4K, if/when it releases. She and my wife went and saw it in theaters and both said it should be amazing on disc.
