(November 11, 2025) SVS is heading into Capital Audiofest 2025 with the throttle wide open. The Ohio-based audio brand known for its unrelenting pursuit of high-performance sound and wallet-friendly pricing is revving its engines and taking to the hi-fi racetrack alongside some of the biggest names in luxury audio. Two demo rooms at the Hilton Rockville will serve as SVS’s dual pit lanes, each tuned for a different kind of ride. One is built for precision cornering and two-channel finesse, while the other is geared for full-throttle surround and high-octane immersion.

Room 626 – The Two-Channel Grand Prix

Think of this as the lightweight, high-tech race car of SVS’s lineup: clean, fast, and built for the purest expression of speed and control. Room 626 is where SVS puts its Ultra Evolution Pinnacle speakers in the driver’s seat, powered by the acclaimed Hegel H400 Integrated Amplifier. The system aims to highlight the Pinnacle’s transparency, dynamic range, and imaging precision, showing that reference-class sound doesn’t have to come with a six-figure price tag.

Attendees can expect an open track for test drives streamed via Qobuz, proving just how effortlessly these towers handle genre changes, from jazz and classical to hard rock and electronica.

The system in this room includes the following gear:

Room 628 – The Surround Sound Supercar

Next door, SVS flips the switch from road racing to rally mode. Room 628 unleashes a 5.2.4 Dolby Atmos and spatial audio system designed to make jaws drop and floorboards tremble. Anchored by a fleet of Ultra Evolution speakers and SB-5000 R|Evolution subwoofers, this setup showcases the kind of pinpoint control and raw power that define SVS’s approach to home theater.

From the whisper of wind in Rocket Man to the full-throttle chaos of Mission: Impossible, SVS says this demo room will showcase the art of object-based audio done right.

To make things even more interesting, SVS has teamed up with Orchard Audio, a New Jersey builder known for its GaN-based Starkrimson amplifiers. The front stage is driven by Starkrimson Mono Ultra Premium amps, while the surrounds are handled by Starkrimson 25 Monos, ensuring every channel delivers clean, high-speed precision with zero lag.

Here's a detailed system configuration:
Capital Audiofest is often described as a playground for high-end brands. A place where precision craftsmanship meets raw sonic horsepower. But SVS arrives with something different under the hood: performance that’s thrilling yet attainable.

“The SVS experience at Capital Audiofest is about connecting people with their passion for great sound, whether it’s home theater, two-channel music, or emerging formats like Dolby Atmos,” said Gary Yacoubian, SVS President. “We’re also proving that high-end audio isn’t just for the few. That’s what drives SVS, and it’s what makes sharing experiences like this in person so rewarding.”

So, if you’re near Rockville, Maryland this weekend (November 14-16) and want to feel what it’s like to sit in the cockpit of high-performance sound that you can actually consider bringing into your home, head to rooms 626 and 628 at the Hilton. The gear is polished, the amps are hot, and SVS is ready to prove that it knows how to handle the corners while leaving everyone else chasing its tail lights.
