Interesting review, Travis. I reviewed the original Prime Wireless a while back and liked them a lot, but found they didn’t hit nearly hard enough in the low end… which is something SVS was aware of, because this Pro version is beefed up in the bass department (at least when compared to the original). So, I was super curious to see what you’d think of it from that perspective.

It *is* a small speaker… so I guess miracles are out of the question. Great news is that it appears to handle higher volumes extremely well, which definitely makes adding an external sub a great option.

Not surprised at all that you liked the imaging they threw. All of SVS’s speakers are highly competent in that department!

Thanks Todd...the bass in these, while it did have a more limited range, it was definitely there, and what was there was nicely done. It was just a very small range of bass guitar before it fell off to the sub. Like a C down to the A, and then it disappeared. Which is right in line with the spec of the speaker. When a song was in the proper key, like a lot of the Sonia Dada "Lay Down and Love It Live" album that I love using for reviews, the bass was tight and clean. But drop below an A and it fell off quickly.

When I connected my sub downstairs, the combo was enormous.
