Summary
These speakers are great as a bedroom or office audio system, or connect them to a TV to create a fantastic system for both TV and music. Very easy to add a sub and create a very powerful system for larger rooms. Inclusion of Apple's AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth in addition to DTS PlayFi means you can stream from all types of devices and sources, and you can still connect all your wired sources, too.

Move over Alexa, the SVS Prime Wireless Pro Powered Speakers are here to handle music playback. Streaming music is convenient, it's easy, and it doesn't have to suck.

If you've found your smart speakers to be convenient, but lacking in terms of sound quality, look no further. This set of powered speakers can step in and replace not only your smart speakers, but your TV speakers or soundbar, your existing bookshelf speakers, an AVR and more.

With a very capable 200 watts of system power (four amps giving each driver 50 watts), the SVS pair can fill all but the largest rooms with a clean, clear and powerful sound. Adding a sub such as the SVS 3000 Micro creates a full range system capable of much more than their footprint would suggest, letting you enjoy dynamic TV, movie and music sound without taking over the room.

Interesting review, Travis. I reviewed the original Prime Wireless a while back and liked them a lot, but found they didn’t hit nearly hard enough in the low end… which is something SVS was aware of, because this Pro version is beefed up in the bass department (at least when compared to the original). So, I was super curious to see what you’d think of it from that perspective.

It *is* a small speaker… so I guess miracles are out of the question. Great news is that it appears to handle higher volumes extremely well, which definitely makes adding an external sub a great option.

Not surprised at all that you liked the imaging they threw. All of SVS’s speakers are highly competent in that department!

Thanks Todd...the bass in these, while it did have a more limited range, it was definitely there, and what was there was nicely done. It was just a very small range of bass guitar before it fell off to the sub. Like a C down to the A, and then it disappeared. Which is right in line with the spec of the speaker. When a song was in the proper key, like a lot of the Sonia Dada "Lay Down and Love It Live" album that I love using for reviews, the bass was tight and clean. But drop below an A and it fell off quickly.

When I connected my sub downstairs, the combo was enormous.
