 - Hsu ULS-15 Mk 2

Hi, everyone! I have what I hope will be an easy question. I currently have a GIK soffit trap positioned in a corner with my Hsu ULS 15 Mk 2 just to the inside of it. However, guidance from Tom Nousaine and Dr. Hsu himself advises loading the sub within a foot of the corner. The size of the soffit trap forces the sub to be 18 inches from the side wall, although it is just a few inches from the back wall. Is this likely the best way to position the soffit trap and sub, or should I try reversing them? Due to the irregular shape of the room, this is really the only corner that would work for the sub. I'd appreciate any advice.
