(May 2, 2025) Starke Sound's new HALO Series has hit the street, boasting high-end sonic performance with modern, eye-catching aesthetics and a surprisingly attainable price point. Following five years of development, the HALO lineup includes a trio of two-way speakers, two subwoofers, and two high-powered solid-state amplifiers, all designed to work together or as part of larger home theater or stereo systems.

At the center of the series is the HALO M1 bookshelf speaker ($4,200/pair), which pairs Starke's new Diamaze28 beryllium dome tweeter with a MaxCarbon65 mid-bass driver, both integrated through a first-order crossover designed for phase coherence and low distortion. The M1 is housed in a rugged Rogrid aluminum frame and cabinet structure, finished with a TrueChrome 14-layer piano lacquer in Samurai Black, Lunar White, or Ember Noir.

The HALO C2 center channel speaker ($3,150) adopts a similar design, swapping in dual MaxCarbon65 drivers to extend output and add clarity for dialogue-heavy content. For installations requiring discreet, surface-mounted solutions, the HALO W1 on-wall speaker ($1,950/pair) offers a slimline design, extending HALO performance to less traditional room layouts.

Subwoofer offerings include the SUB1 ($2,499), featuring a 12.5-inch driver and 1000W RMS amplifier in a compact form factor, and the larger SUB5 ($4,999), which includes a 17-inch driver, proprietary Umbraxis support structure, and 3kW RMS of power. The SUB5 is capable of output down to 8Hz, with 120mm of excursion to provide low-end impact suitable for even the largest listening environments.

Rounding out the HALO Series are two third-generation A+AB solid state amplifiers: the two-channel A2 ($6,000) and three-channel A3 ($6,900). Both deliver 620W per channel into 4 ohms, feature fully balanced circuitry, and utilize a capacitor array rated at 176,000 microfarads. Their high-bias Class A+AB topology allows for pure Class A performance under typical listening conditions, switching to Class AB only when needed to preserve headroom.

"Our new HALO Series is designed to be a breath of fresh air for the audio industry," said Scott DeLoache, Chief Design Director of Starke Sound Inc. "These models are powerful and voiced for true high-end listening in demanding systems, yet their price range is remarkably affordable for their performance and build quality."

With advanced materials, strong industrial design, and a wide range of configurations, the HALO Series is now available for order through Starke Sound and authorized dealers. For more details and specifications, visit starkesound.com.
