Just got this message when I opened Spotify today…

Hmmm... Not so fast... Hi-Res audio is digital audio that offers higher fidelity than a standard CD (16-bit/44.1 kHz), typically defined by a higher bit depth (like 24-bit) and sampling rate (like 96 kHz or 192 kHz)...

And Spotify is offering 24-bit at 44.1kHz... In my book that does not exactly qualify as Hi-Res... They missed the "and" part... :nerd:

Oops, my bad... They call it "Lossless"... :justdontknow:

Well, lossless is better than not lossless!

I'll bet a lot of this has to do with server costs on their end.
