Dear all,
We want to explore an optimized PA setting for a small venue and take advantage of REW to measure and tune its acoustic characteristics. However, from the outset, we don't seem to correctly route the signals to sound card, particularly the input channel. That is, when we attempted the sound card calibration with a loopback cable between output and input, the signal only goes out from the computer to the sound card through USB and to the out channel, but does not seem to be fed back to the in channel. We have tried some other cards, including Avid's Fast Track Duo and Allen & Heath Q16 digital PA mixer without luck. What goes wrong here, or how can we troubleshoot to single out the problem? We are at a music school and have an access to a decent set of accessories, equipments and tools if needed.
