Sony is shipping us the very first allocation/shipment of the VPL-XW7000ES, XW6000ES, and XW5000ES native 4K HDR Laser projectors this week.

Sony's new flagship VPL-XW7000ES will ship tomorrow, August 18th followed by the XW6000ES and XW50000ES.

Sony's new flagship VPL-XW7000ES weighs 31 lbs. It's beautifully designed and the build quality is excellent and lighter than what I would have expected.

How does the image look (to you) straight out of the box?

When you select the "Reference" picture mode the picture quality is excellent.

I expect we'll see Sony's new XW projector line up to be demonstrated at CEDIA.

I'll be attending CEDIA with Lianne and would love to meet up with you.

Sony direct shipped all of our customers' XW5000ES, XW6000ES, and XW7000ES and also filled all of our orders for store stock. Even today, Saturday, we just received 3 more XW6000ES projectors for our store stock and one is coming home with me!
