To kick off this thread here's an article in Reference Home Theater Magazine about a complete luxury apartment in NYC that we were hired to spec, design, and install all of the a/v, lighting and control.

The client is a serious a/v enthusiasts. My favorite type of client.

Show us your a/v systems.

Thank you Kal, coming from you that means a lot to me!!

Beautiful system and the speakers are well positioned. Thanks for buying your UB9000 from us!

The back half of my room is a mess as I’ve gotten rid of my second row, and there are 8 different Triad InWalls sitting around that I’ve been testing and re-calibrating as I decide which I’m going to keep and which I’ll be using where.

But here are some older photos, and a shot of the rack prior to installing a second Emotiva amp for height channels.

JVC X790R
Seymour AV 100x50 2:1AR CenterStage UF screen
Anthem AVM60
Emotiva UPA700 (bed channels)
Emotiva UPA500 (heigh channels)
Triad Gold InWall Satellites (bed channels, not installed in the walls until after my pending move)
Triad Silver InWall MiniMonitors (eventual height channels, again, pending move)
Mission 77ds (temporary height channels)
SVS PB2000
Nvidia Shield (PLEX/Kodi - all my media is ripped to a server in the utility room)
AppleTV4K
Sony UBP-800 (backup disc player for rentals or loaners)

BTW, row 3 (2 now) is a row of nearly new seats that were taken out of the Merle Hay Cinema when it closed down. They had the largest screen in town, now it’s down to the multiplexes. They’re actually pretty comfy when mounted on a flat surface instead of a slope. Perfect overflow seating.

Edit: and of course the photos are wonky. Edit 2: fixed photos

Love home Cinema's and your's is a beautiful example. Your member name says it all!

Enjoy and say safe at home.

Thanks Robert. This thing is a godsend these days, along with a server full of movies we haven’t watched yet. I can fiddle and tweak and experiment during the day, and entertain the family in the evenings.

This is what the back half of my room looks like, probably until after the move, then I'll have a whole new room to build.

@Kakkadu, you are one serious a/v enthusiasts! Love the mono-block tube amps and you off the wall speaker placement!

No Turntable or SACD player?
