I recently purchased a used F-150 and have installed a Blaupunkt XLF00A 300W amplified sub with signal coming from the stock head unit with a Wavtech LinkDQ LOC/Line Driver (with Parametric EQ) feeding the sub via RCA cables.
I have a UMIK-1 mic and REW and would like to balance out the sound as there are some significant "humps" among the lower octaves.
I have been uncertain as to what order to go about setting things up in, since there are similar controls on both the LinkDQ and the XLF200A (LinkkDQ -> Gain, Boost,
Frequency, & Q of 2 or 5; XLF200A -> Gain, Bass Boost, Crossover, & 0/180 phase). The head unit has a simple three band tone control.
What suggestions do you have for settings, measurements, and calibration sequence/procedures?
