(October 2, 2019) One of the fastest growing professional gear companies in the home theater segment, Savant, has revealed its latest Pro Remote model: the Pro Remote 2. Having gathered feedback from custom integrators and installers practicing around the globe, Savant says its latest remote delivers the best of past technologies with new styling and enhanced usability factors. Owners will appreciate the remote’s tapered edges and soft-touch backside, along with its weighty 9-ounce magnetic docking base (included).

“Savant has always been dedicated to delivering the finest, most intuitive user experience in the smart home marketplace,” explained Savant CEO Robert Madonna. “The Pro Remote 2 joins our touch panels, keypads, TV User Experience and our award-winning Pro App, providing users with an inviting, highly personalized smart home interface.”

The entire user experience centers around the Pro Remote 2’s high-res 3.1” touchscreen and backlit hard buttons. Savant says users can easily program select buttons and onscreen icons for immediate control of services, lighting effects called Savant Scenes, favorite playlists and channels, and more. The remote also provides simple access to a new onscreen menu system for complete control of smart home solutions.

The Pro Remote 2 also delivers built-in voice control paired with Siri voice control of Apple TV and other devices through Apple’s HomeKit. For more information, visit Savant on the web.

It's pretty cool to see some of the universal remotes gaining compatibility with voice assistants.

Is this available to consumers? I assume not given the "Pro" model name.

Very slick looking.

Ahhh... yeah, you could probably coax a dealer into selling direct to you. Otherwise, I believe Best Buy Magnolia sold the last version.
