Hi John!
I went to install the REW_windows-x64_REW_windows-x64_5_20_14ea55 version and NOW the scan and RTA readings are very different from each other as you can see in the attached file!

Is it what happened? Help me please!

Thanks John!
I switched to RTA but the measurement is wrong on the screen - see the screenshot below!
The calibration was at 74dB and the RTA is showing 50 dB???
What am I doing wrong again?

John all right now! measurements are the same sweep vs RTA!
On Friday came a java update and when I opened the REW I lost all the REW settings. It's the first time this happens with java, believe me!
Thank you very much for the prompt service John! You are a very efficient and dedicated professional! Congratulations!

You're the second person to report that, seems that Java update was broken in some way.

John, I'd like to give some feedback on this version I'm using. (REW_windows-x64_5_20_14ea55 version!)
I use REW to make measurements with usb mic and analog on multichannel equipment through HDMI and two analog channels
I often use impedance, delay, IR, frequency response, sweeps, RTA, pre eq filters and other less intense measurements
I finished doing a battery of tests and all the averages were correct.
I think that now we also have to take care of the java people not to break the REW eheheh!
This is the first time this has happened here, I've been using REW since 2010.
What has happened over that time is that all versions have been updated and no longer work as well as needing to update. REW is powerful and when everything works well we forget what's behind it and when it works badly we realize how complex it is to fix it... Only with the help of REW's father John!
