I think I've found a bug in the room simulation utility. If there are 2 subwoofers in a room, and you set a mic position offset by some amount (I used 5 feet), there is a discrepancy between the offset mic position, and moving the main listening position to match. This discrepancy changes when you hover your mouse over the position to highlight the curve in the response window, which implies to me that the frequency response window isn't showing the full calculation till you hover the mouse over one of the positions to highlight a specific curve. For instance, take a room with 2 subs, one in each front corner. If I model the MLP, and a mic positioned 5' to the left, you get a response plot. Then if I move the MLP to match the position 5' to the left, the response matches, but if I then mouse over the MLP, the plot changes.
MLP + mic 5' left:
MLP moved to match the 5' left position (response matches the 5' left mic position from before):
Don't change MLP, but just hover over the MLP, and the response changes:
I don't see this behavior if there is only one sub being modeled, so it appears to be related to multiple sources.
This is using REW v5.4 Beta 110. I've found this behavior on both the Mac and Windows versions. Thoughts?
