I have finally added shaggy rug on hard floor. How do i check rt60 decay and all other stuff with REW. Does it apply only to speaker or subwoofer as well? I dont hear much dialogue in bluray movies.

A single rug on the floor is probably not enough to make much difference in your decay times... There are lots of examples here at AVNirvana for room treatments... It would help if you could give a brief description of your room... As for not hearing much dialogue, do you have a center channel speaker? That is where most of your dialogue would come from when watching blue-ray movies which are most likely 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound...

cant afford centre channel for now. i have 2.1 only. Room is small 13feetx11feet and rug is 1.5inches pile height 8x10 feet. i have dali opticon 2 mk2 and svs pb 2000 pro

I guess you could run your Denon AVR in stereo mode and hope it does well with 5.1 down mixing to 2.1... And you could use the AVR's EQ to boost ~80Hz to ~8kHz by 2db or 3db, the fundamental frequencies and harmonics of the human voice...

As far as using REW, a USB Measurement microphone, like a Minidsp UMIK-1 or Dayton Audio Umm-6 USB Measurement microphone is needed... And a Mac or Windoz (laptop) PC with a USB port... There are many videos on the internet that can walk you thru setting up and measuring your room with REW... And here is a link to REW's Getting Started document... https://www.roomeqwizard.com/help/help_en-GB/html/gettingstarted.html
