Good day everyone!
Recently I've encountered an issue with sweeping in REW; when using a high sweep level, such as 1M or 2M, it'd stop sweeping at around the 2.6 khz mark. Sometimes it would not sweep at all, but only on the right channel.
Now what's interesting: When I switch to the left channel, however, there's a popping sound to be heard during the beginning, when it's capturing the noise floor, and it works flawlessly. Even the right channel works for a while after that, until it makes that exact same "pop" during sweeping and stops working again.
This process can be repeated several times, always yielding the same results.
I'd almost say it's a problem with the amplifier or one of the cables, but I can listen to music for hours on end without noticing any popping at all, unless I'm listening to a very worn-out vinyl record that is.
What could cause this issue? I'd be very thankful for any help.
Thank you for reading and have a great weekend!
