I ran the official REW sample .mdat through my REW Pro MCP v1 tool as a workflow demo.
The goal is not to make speaker/product claims from the sample file, but to show how the tool handles mixed REW data safely.
In this file it detected:
- 5 SPL traces
- 2 impedance traces
It automatically separated the domains, blocked all SPL-vs-impedance comparisons, selected the useful REL SPL pair and SPH170 impedance pair, then used the new v1.2 resolution tools for sampled FR profiles, compact distortion summaries, and narrow-band peak/crossing scans.
The clearest demo result is the SPH170 impedance pair:
- reference peak around 42.1 Hz
- +5g peak around 36.6 Hz
- crossing between 38.5 and 39.0 Hz
- largest sampled delta around -9.63 ohm at 46 Hz
The report also shows the claim discipline: raw sampled facts are separated from indicative interpretation, and unsupported phase/delay/EQ/recommendation claims are blocked.
