I have last REW version. I need to measure offline. I create testing wav file and upload it to offline device. In "Import sweep offline" i set this wav file. Then I make measurment .... and then the problem appears: I have to place the recorded wav file into "Import sweep offline". BUT! i have recorded SPL only in rew like a MDAT. I can only do IR.wav. not SPL.wav for "import seep offline". What Iam douing wrong?

Hi John, this part is not problem. I did it. Problem is that I run sweep and record it to rew. But i dont know how to load this recorded wav into "Import sweep recordings": Stimulus is no problem. But Response i cant load. it load only files like wav, aiff, mp3, flac. But the recorded wav file in REW is in MDAT format. I dont know how i can save it into the wav file (incuding timming reference)

You are using the wrong method. If you want to capture the system output yourself as a WAV file, you can use whatever audio capture application you want and the use the option to Import sweep recordings. If you want REW to capture the result of playing the file, use File playback measurement.

John, i did this. In help there is this: Now play back the file on the system being measured, once REW detects the timing reference it will capture the sweep and generate the measurement. ... John, i did this. After this step I have recorded file in REW. But i dont know how to load this file into the "Import sweep recordings" - to "Response" part

There's nothing else to do, you do not use import sweep recordings if you have done a file playback measurement, you already have your measurement.

aaah, i probably understand. The measurement captured by mic in REW is the right final measurment. It is not necessary to use "import sweep recordings". Only run measurement from file. Thanks

Ah, when i use this offline measuring from file, I have problem with measuring of sub. I have lowpass LR4 120hz. It means the speaker is not playing the higher frequencies where the timming start/stop is played. Therefore measurment do not start. Is there some process for offline measuing of subwoofers?

If Keith’s idea above doesn’t apply then you’re welcome to tell us your signal chain (process, amps, speakers/subs and how connected) and what you are wanting to accomplish. With that we should be able to provide some help.
