REW multitone WAV file clips

I create this multitone below but it actually clips even though level is less than 0dB peak.

There's no warning from REW that this clips, until I lower further low to -3.5dB peak

Is this a bug? Should REW actually be asking me to lower lower than the below, to avoid clipping?

Multitone frequencies depend on the sample rate and sequence length. The generator display is based on the playback sample rate in the soundcard preferences, from your screenshots that looks to be 192 kHz. If you change that rate to 44.1 kHz REW will show that clipping occurs at -7.00 dBFS. I'll make a change for the next build to update the preview data for the selected WAV sample rate when using Save to file.
