Can someone be kind enough to cast an eye over my graph and let me know if the red or green is the best position for my sub before I run anthem arc on my system I realise neither position is ideal but it is the only two choices I have. No smoothing applied,
Thanks

Like you said, neither is ideal. I’d go ahead and run Anthem on both and see if one turns out better.

Wayne

Thanks for looking Wayne, ran both and anthem aligns both to target line no problem only difference is the xover which it wants to set red line to 160hz with a High pass frequency of 16hz and a 1st order High pass slope and the green line to 100hz xover, hpf of 15hz and flat slope. Not sure what one is better though.

Hello.

If you can move your subs to a different place in your room and see how that affects your response in REW that could be a better solution, that is a deep null there. if that is impossible or you are limited in available spots, then maybe try moving your MLP a ft or two (to the front/back) and measure again. After you find a better position you can try changing the phase/polarity switches in your subs to see if that could get you some more positive output.

Best of luck

Delo

Thanks for the advice Delo, stuck with only the two positions for Sub, but will do as you say and experiment with my MLP position. I know that if I move my seat back against the rear wall that gets rid of null but am trying to avoid doing so as my surrounds are mounted on same wall.

If you can't move your subs but move your MLP that would be a good start. but also you could try as much as possible to time align your subs, sometimes it takes a lot of trial and error, but it's worth it at the end!

Only have one PC13 Ultra Delos which can go next to either the left or right speaker which is probably why the response is not very good.. Should I try to time align it to the main speakers in rew.
