What is best "save as" for DSP-408? I cant get anything REW suggest for EQ to line up close enough for the DSP-408.

@ddude003 Hmm ill have a look- running 5.20.13 now so maybe .14 is just better
Did you ever figure this out? Do you happen to know the entries for the following inputs? I recently purchased a DSP-408 unit and can’t figure it out.

Thanks so much!

Bumping this up

User documentation seems a bit on the light side... Looks like the device has 10 peq and 2 shelf filters... Since the documentation does not say what the parameters are you will have to look at the software and reverse engineer what you can set these filters to...
You might also have a look at this video for some clues...

Thanks for trying. Crazy how opaque the communication surrounding the product’s specs are

Seriously... Down load and run the software... See what the limits are for the various parameters for the PEQs... Its most likely 3 or 4 parameters and all you have to do is figure out the upper and lower ranges for each parameter...

Look at 14:10 of the video... You can clearly see what the PEQs look like and I also notice that slot 1 and 10 are either PEQs or Shelfs... So, only 10 total filters there... It also looks like you just have Frequency, Q and dB to figure out the upper and lower limits for and steps... He sets the filter types for a MiniDSP 2x4 which seems to work... I tested the MiniDSP 2x4 HD and got 10 PEQ filters... Follow his video, its pretty straight forward...

To close the loop on this here are the setting Dayton Audio tech support has recommended via email:

Filters:10

Sample Rate: 48kHz

Frequency Range: 20 to 20,000 step 1 Hz

Gain Range: -12 to 12 step 0.1dB

Q/BW Format: RDJ Q (Half Gain)

Q/BW Range: 0.404 to 28.85 step 0.02

edited on 9/21/2023: Sample Rate field now reflects “48kHz”
