REW asks for mic calibration file when opening a new session

Hi,
I reinstalled Java win64bits recently (trying to solve a "A java script error occurs in the main process" message.Since then when I open REW, itasked my mic cal file. I add it but itseems to be deleted when I close rew.
Howcould I fix that ?

Javascript is not Java and does not make any use of Java. When you say "reinstalled" do you mean you uninstalled Java before installing it again? If so the uninstall might have removed the Java preferences entry in the Registry, though it should be recreated for the new installation. Preferences are saved in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\room eq wizard, so could check that node exists in the registry using RegEdit. If there was a preferences storage problem then no other settings would be remembered either, such as graph scalings or audio interface selections.

Yes I uninstalled Java uninstall Tool and reinstalled it.
I now see that I must choose the cal file for ASIO4All input and for the umik check box in preference, cal file tab. User error like 99,9% of the time...:redgrin:
